NNORC Program’s Annual Overnight Trip!

This past July, participants in our NNORC program enjoyed an overnight trip to Washington, D.C. The trip included a visit to the Smithsonian African American Art Museum, dinner at Golden Corral, and shopping at Arundel Mills Mall in Maryland. Our older adults stayed overnight at the DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton, where they enjoyed a very comfortable stay and a breakfast buffet before checking out the next day. During the trip, some of our older adults expressed their gratitude, stating, “Thank you for taking us to places we had never been before.” This marks our 2nd annual overnight trip with our older adults here at Riis Settlement, and we are already planning for next summer!
