Riis Settlement offers FREE English classes to help immigrants gain English skills to read, write, and communicate in their daily lives. Instruction helps students develop language skills and knowledge of community resources in New York City.

New classes begin in September, January, and April. All classes meet for 10 weeks.
Morning Classes

Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
Evening Classes
Location: 31-51 21st St, Astoria, NY 11101
Time: 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Saturday Classes
