Our Spring Arts Festival brought the community together at our Ravenswood Cornerstone site on Saturday to celebrate creativity and showcase the talents of our participants. The festival featured dance, painting, fashion design, crafts, and other artistic works, highlighting the diverse talents of our community.
Guests heard poetry written by immigrant youth, admired artwork created by students from Riis Academy, and enjoyed an intergenerational dance performance that brought people of all ages together. These performances and exhibits demonstrated how the arts encourage creativity, self-expression, and community.
We are grateful to our events committee, talented artists, and volunteers for making the festival possible, and we extend a special thank you to Assembly Member Diana Moreno for joining us at the celebration.
