These new general operating and capacity building initiatives will allow Christopher Hanway, the organization’s incoming Executive Director, to focus on leadership development, fund development and communications enhancements, inclusive stakeholder enagagement, and early preparation for a new strategic plan during the upcoming fiscal year. “We are honored and delighted to have these two new partnerships during this critical time in Riis Settlement’s development,” said Mr. Hanway, who currently serves at the organization’s Director of Development and Communications. “Our current ED, Bill Newlin and I, along with everyone at Riis Settlement, are committed to a productive transition that maintains continuity while engendering community change and we are very grateful for their support in this endeavor.”
